LAARPING LARPING

Torie enjoys playing amtgard with her friends, but one person keeps messing with her fun. Maybe he thinks he flirting, maybe he thinks he's helping, but either way he's ruining Torie's day. Can she face him in a tournament and prove once and for all that she is the victor? This story was written for a contest in the game of Amtgard. It's about a common experience of a woman in a LARP/boffer sport, both good and bad.

In a small village three teenagers dream of making their lives something important. The three harness their Elemental oriented powers hoping to join the ranks of the Magick Knights and make names for themselves. Ryder Duram: The only son of the town's miller who uses his powers over the earth to help his father's business. Dusk Rial: The orphaned boy called the Knight of Light in his town who brings light on even the darkest days in their silent towm. Isis ZenRose: The granddaughter of Master Zen, Master of Magick in their region and unwilling harnesser of darkness . Easily dismissed by those who see her as weak of will and strength. These three are the only disciples of Master Zen who sends them to figure out what is behind the illness spreading through their region and to put a stop to it. With their skills still blooming the three will have to put their skills and companionship to the test to figure out what is killing their land and people while dark forces and good hunt them down trying to put an end to them. These teenagers will learn that trust is easily earned and even easier broken.

The ancient land of Oath, a kingdom which sits just on the edge of faerie country, has long since been under the protection of the fey. Lately, a cruel and powerful party seeks to overthrow Oath as of late and all hope seems lost. However, just as the people had thought that they had at long last been abandoned by the fey, a new prophecy has been made that tells of seven warriors who will save the kingdom. But will the fey responsible for this prophecy be able to make it come true?

Being a spy is hard. Everyone knows that even if the general consensus is that it's all worth it. Most days, I agree. Some days I question the sanity of movie makers. Being a spy means being sneaky. It means being clever. It's risky. Pretending to be someone else, twisting yourself to fit into the box people expect. It's a good thing I'm flexible. The thing most people don't realize is that it gets harder with a partner, not easier. Why? It's simple, really. Having a partner means that you have backup. That's not the problem. The problem is everything else. It's the inside jokes you're just bursting to say and pretending you don't know them when all you want to do is hold on till the world feels a little kinder, a little more like something worth saving. It's knowing that someone will rescue you, but you can't do that because it'll just put more people at risk. It's knowing that it's not just your life on the line. But in the end, a partner is always worth it. Why? Because nothing is sweeter than getting to say, 'I told you so.'

Sie folgt dem Gott der Seuche und des Siechtums nach dem Warhammer-Universum. In seinem Namen und mit unendlicher Gedult versucht sie Krankheit und Pestilenz unter allen zu verteilen die ihrem Gott nicht folgen. Sie ist der festen Überzeugung sie tut Gutes wenn sie den Hilflosen Krankheiten schenkt. Oft zieht sie mit den Horden des Chaos durch das Land, die für viele das abslout Böse darstellen. Auch wenn es nicht immer ganz einfach ist, bei den Horden versammeln sich auch die Gläubige anderer Götter, so sieht Kato die Welt mit ihren eigenen Augen und versucht Liebe und Güte zu verbreiten.
