Part 2 of Outside... Distance, heartbreak, betrayal, love and loss... Lyla had experienced it all in the time she'd been alive, but nothing could prepare her for the feelings she was to endure in her future with British rising-to-fame rockstar, Van McCann.

They used to be a couple...but some things were terribly wrong and now they have no idea what to do.

Van is home from tour and is exhausted. You're waken up by Van and Larry arguing in the kitchen, you diffuse the situation and look after Van by washing his hair, putting on face masks and getting stoned in the front room. Cute and sweet.

You move in with Larry and Van after years of dog sitting and house sitting when they were away on tour. Things were going really well, you and Van begin to fall for each other until one morning where he messes it all up. Well so you think..... (This is my first fic on here so bare with. It's very long and I used to post them on my fan account on insta but thought it would be better to publish them on here. I've got loads more in my notes I'm going to post- but let me know if anyone has any requests for Catfish fics. I know there's nothing better then reading something that you have imagined for a while so let me know!)

Loosely based on Outside- You and Van always find your way back to each other when he's home from tour. It's hard, people talk and laugh and you don't know how much more you can take, especially when you find yourself falling in love with him. (Yes I know I've just published one based on Hourglass but i like this one so have two based on different catfish songs😂)

It's like I'm on the outside... Lyla Robson was like any average nineteen year old, she worked and dealt with egotistical bosses like many girls her age will encounter at some point in their lives. However, when a certain fluffy haired welsh lad, all black clad and fag in hand, offers her an escape from the misery, her entire life is changed.

I don't know where this is going to go buttt the idea is I'll make a whole load of different chapters based on songs from the lids early days. I love all the songs from their old EP's (I'm sure everyone does) so what better way to show that then write some fics about them all? Enjoy!

Another fic influenced by another one of the boys worldy tunes 'Overlap'. You and Van are gravitated to each other. Can't leave one another alone, but during the day it's like you didn't even exist. You enjoy Vans company but struggle as you begin to feel yourself catching feelings, you think it's only you who feels this way until you pick up his journal one night and read one of his newly written songs...

I had not seen her in years. Almost eight years to be exact. She had left without a word. No goodbye. No explanation. She was just gone. The one thing that never left? My love for her. Despite it all there wasn't anything I wouldn't do for the green eyed gem who once lived three houses down from me. I never expected to see her again truthfully, but if I've learned anything it's that life sometimes brings you unexpected surprises. Only this surprise came in the form of a girl I had given many years of my teenage self to, only this time she wasn't battling with her emotions, but for her life.
