Attending a prestigious posh school as a scholorship member isn't exactly Ashton's idea of wonderfulness. Especially when a Youtube sensation who he hates happens to attend it because he's rich. The only true reasons Ashton is here is because of his mum being proud of him, his close friend Gemma and most importantly, Michael, his childhood best friend, who just happens to be dating Luke Hemmings. Luke Hemmings, as in, the famous Youtuber, player and did I mention that Ashton hates Luke, and they only ever talk on Michael's behalf? Yeah. Two boys compete to get the attention of Michael, and end up in a completely different situation. UNEDITED.

"You know, he was a wreck after you guys broke up." Ashton snorted. "I find that hard to believe." Ashton and Luke broke up 3 years ago the day before Ashton left to go to college in America. Now that he's back in Australia on break, the two find themselves reconnecting and wondering why they broke up in the first place.

A random story that came to meh while I was at the zoo but anyway Ashton and Michael are working at the zoo since they're two years older than Luke and Calum who are going to the same zoo for a 'educational' trip from school.

In some ways, Luke and Ashton were destined to find each other and this story shows how easily the pair can find themselves in an easy friendship, perhaps even something more. Quick and witty (and quite the fanboy) Luke represents just about any average Joe or Jane who is "discovered" by their idol. A breath of fresh air from the typical pop star life, Ashton is cool and suave, if not a little naïve and gullible. Together the two have a great dialogue and chemistry (there's also some adorable Malum parts that can melt your heart) ENTERED WATTYS2018

You could say Luke and Ashton handle life differently. Luke wants everyone's attention so he's constantly fighting, getting in trouble and generally standing out. Ashton wants to fly under the radar, so he gets average grades,never says anything different, fits in. He doesn't want to be noticed, especially not by the blonde haired boy who always seems to know that's something's wrong.

Luke has been with Ricky since he turned fifteen, and now its been three years of absolute hell for him. His punk rocker twin brother Hayden has a punk rocker friend named Ashton Irwin, who stirs up a lot more trouble than he can handle.
