enemies, to friends, to lovers. ______________ hi there. so, this is modern. they still have bending, ba sing se is a place etc. it's just like ATLA except with technology i guess? not sure how to explain it. but we've got zukka because im in love with it, kataang and then.. toph. but there is not firelord stuff or anything like that. i'm editing this 3 chapters in because it followed the plot line better LMAO suki died. i haven't put too much research into when she died, but i'm gonna say this is like a year or so after the last episode of atla. they need to be aged up LMAO sokka is 17, zuko 18. katara 16 and for the sake of the plot aang is also 16. toph is 15. mature content warning. minimal swearing if y'all care LMAO. its slow burn and a lot of beating around the bush. they don't wanna admit anything and sokkas just overall afraid to love again after every woman or girl he's loved has died in some form. minus katara and toph. zukos head over heels you could say, he's realizing what affection really feels like. so this leaves him questioning

This based on the characters but as essentially young adults. I do not own the characters but the overall story is mine

When Zuko became part of the Gaang, all Katara could do was wait for the other shoe to drop. This was her way of processing the emotions that came with the addition of the firebender to their group. She didn't know how to express her feelings to him, so she wrote it down in the form of poems instead. *HUGELY inspired by a poem book called The Princess Saves Herself in This One by Amanda Lovelace*

Cuando Zuko descubre lo que se siente tener a alguien que te ame más que a nada y que estaría dispuesta a sacrificar lo que sea por su bienestar, se empieza a plantear si realmente está haciendo lo correcto. Záthura es una maestra tierra muy particular que conoce casi por accidente, pero que no podrá librarse de ella tan fácilmente. A pesar de que al comienzo tuvieron sus diferencias él logra tolerarla y crear una amistad con ella, el problema es que nunca se había dado cuenta de que realmente conoce muy poco de quien es y cual es su pasado, si no hasta que era demasiado tarde. Por su lado, Záthura encuentra en el exiliado príncipe algo que pensó que había pedido para siempre y logra percatarse de que, sin darse cuenta ella podía hacer lo que fuese para verlo sonreír de nuevo. Su pasado la orilla a sentir miedo todo el tiempo, pero eso cambia cuando consigue su motivación, teniendo también una misión que cumplir. ¿Puede Zuko evitar enamorarse de la maestra tierra? ¿Puede Záthura alcanzar al fin la felicidad? ¿Cuál es la motivación que encuentra? ¿Y en qué consiste su misión?

This is an alternate ending to what happened on the day of Sozin's Comet in the Last Airbender world.
