Makoto Naegi and his friends embark on a supply distribution mission in the crumbling ruins of New York City. Although the mission comes first, the exemplary performance of Nozomi Kirifuji, and the glowing impression she leaves on Makoto, fills Kyoko Kirigiri with disruptive personal concerns. Set in the Danganronpa canon universe along with characters from Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy. Knowledge of Last Defense Academy is not necessary for this story. No spoilers for Last Defense Academy.

At Makoto's insistence, the Remnants are spared and taken prisoner, but nothing could have prepared him for the consequences of that decision. Spoiler Alert for hundred line last defense academy: (Note that the description has been reworked after chapter 15) Y/N - That wasn't my choice. You should know that if you're truly me. I only was a loner because no one else wanted to approach a person such as myself, but now I have others by my side! ??? - What an interesting lie. You will realize that you were born not to be a detective, but rather to be a killing machine. My eyes widened. This had to all be a lie, no? ??? - You will kill them all eventually. Kill, kill, kill, kill! It began repeating that single word repeatedly. I could only scream for help, but no one was there to get me out of this horrific nightmare. The dark figure was only getting closer, practically fusing its' body with mine as it kept repeating that word over and over. Y/N - STOP IT!! It felt like an eternity, but after a couple more repetitions, everything stopped. After a lot of thought, it ended up as a "Kurara x Y/N fanfic" (It's not the entire focus of the story though!) I'm trying my best to maintain high quality throughout the entire fic, so hopefully you guys will be the judges of whether or not I've been successful with that task!
