I've seen a lot of these. Most of them I liked, but I've noticed a trend, they follow a certain pattern. Well this one will be different. I hope

Annie Polter has always wondered what the humans were like, she had her theories, but she was imprisoned by her fellow Shakrakin for believing in a time before they ruled and conquered. She witnessed the death of the ancient one and now her death is to take place on the anniversary of the end of human civilisation. Brandon hated being alone. But at the same time, he didn't like being around people. He paced the empty grocery store with impatience. At last he called out, "CARISSA! Evereybody's gone. Honestly, I don't know if they're all dead. I've searched everywhere and found no traces of living or dead body. Damn. Where the f_ck are they? Why did they leave me alone?! Humanity. How long have they been dead for again? Doesn't matter. This is about the only human survivor after all. Stuck in a world of shapeshifting squids and octopi. Will he live? Anyhow, welcome to my first story published on Wattpad, (or anywhere, for that matter) concerning the last remnant of humanity - Jacob, a cryogenically frozen 14 year old who is bought into inkling society at the worst possible time. The great zapfish has disappeared (AGAIN) and it's up to the new squidbeak splatoon to find it! I'm going to draw a decent cover for this soon, but for now I'm afraid you'll have to put up with having no cover at all for a little while.
