It was very different without my mother and father around, also my grandmothers twin. My grandma lived with me and she was a very good person. She would always tell me about the stories of her childhood. But now it was ending, those memories were fading. I felt so weak because Grandma was sick.
"Julianne, can you hand me some water," Grandma said in her weak voice. For I knew she was at an old age and dying. She missed her twin greatly after battling heart and lung problems.
In my country you were supposed to have your birth mother living with you, but I always lied and said "she had me at an old age" but knew I was lying.
"Thank you," Grandma said as I gave her water. "Can you tell me a story," I asked? "I can't use my lungs at the second sweetie how bout you," Grandma said struggling and feeling bad.
"I can't Grandma, I just can't," I said. "Julianne can you please let me rest I am feeling rather weak at the moment. Sorry," grandma said.
