Otherwise you'd probably be confused. Ben Solo is conflicted. Ever since he was just fifteen years old he has had a dark presence in his mind, a dark manipulative voice that infected his mind until he became the violent and destructive machine that Supreme Leader Snoke wanted him to be. But now there's a presence. A light presence within the force that he can sense pulling him to the light. This presence is Rey, just some nobody scavenger from Jakku. And yet she has the power to affect Kylo Ren in ways that he never thought possible. A Rylo story

My best attempt at rewriting the mess of a movie that is The Last Jedi. Note- I'm going to be changing the story of The Last Jedi and the Rise of Skywalker pretty much completely, so be warned.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... The Supreme Leader is dead. While the recent news is not yet known in the galaxy, the war is taking a turn. Rey is confronted with the reality of her past and the conflict between her wants vs. what is best for the galaxy. Kylo Ren is faced with the struggle of his own inner conflict. Two halves of one whole, these two face their connection and what it means for the world around them.

"You will never be Ben." I said, staring into those cold, dead eyes of his. My heart was picking up pace as my face grew hotter from my anger. Kylo grabbed my face by just one hand of his. His fingers were cold to the touch. He brought his face closer to mine, a smirk playing on his lips. He placed his arm next to my head, so that his body could lean closer to mine. I hate him, I have hated him for years. This man is not the person I know. "I will always be Ben to you." He said so cooly, spending chills down my spine. He released my face, his hand traveling down. My neck to my collarbone, to my lower back bringing me up against his chest. I tried to push him away, looking away from him. He came lower to speak into my ear to whisper, "As you will always be my Celestia."

Y/n finds herself living in cramped apartment with two very interesting roommates, although she is on very friendly terms with both of them their friendship develops into something else...

After Briar's parents leave her and her baby sister, she finds a chance to run away and takes it, venturing across the galaxy.
