Blue thought it was over. She thought Third Life was just a dream that she had somehow shared with fourteen other people, and that she could now live her life in the Empires, united with her family and friends once again. But the Watchers aren't done with her yet. Or anyone, in fact. The past is more important than anyone realizes, and if they don't accept it, then they're doomed. Waking up in a strange new world, 14 people with no memory discover they exist in soulbound pairs. With their souls tangled together, when one person is injured the other feels it too. The rules are set for their new reality, what follows will be fraught with magic, betrayal and chaos. Grian and Scar, soulbound despite their differences, must struggle to survive in this world where friendships turn to fury and love can splinter like brittle glass. Will they ever regain their memories, or will they die in the conflicts that arise under their dark circumstance? {Disclaimers: This fic is based on the mentioned YouTuber's characters, not who they actually are as people. Also its an Au, so there will be some differences to the original story to help the plot make sense and be more enjoyable. It's not meant to be perfectly accurate to the events of the series)

Blue is in the clutches of the Watchers. And one of her friends *is* a Watcher, and Martyn betrayed everything he knew, and it's tight and claustrophobic and annoyingly shimmery and... Basically, she has a lot on her mind. Gem, meanwhile, is dealing with a bunch of rowdy Last Lifers getting into her world, her twin brother getting "inspired" by an untrustworthy source, and of course, three missing people: Blue, Grian, and some guy who everyone seemed to hate named Martyn. But there are a lot more problems to solve than those. People and things that are supposed to be gone return, secrets that everyone would rather keep hidden are uncovered, worlds full of citizens are destroyed, and friends who have so much to live for die. Most of the problems can be traced back to the Watchers, which is why Blue and the rest of the Listener's Chosen are determined to defeat them. But things aren't always what they seem, and it's easy to get sidetracked when there's more than one villain. If you haven't read Life Hearts (book 1) or Evolved (book 2) go check them out. This will make a lot more sense once you've read those.
