In two parallel stories, occupying the same space over two hundred years apart, a New York surgeon must confront his differences with the System he is a part of during the Covid-19 crisis, as a scout in the King's Loyal-American Rangers must face his own controversial position in the 1776 British army campaign to capture New York and New Jersey. But can they find similar solutions, or do their paths intersect? Is it better to preserve one's status and friendship network, or to seek the truth at great cost?
