This is a short story that I wrote for a essay contest about how I would survive a zombie apocalypse. Just thought I would share it here. There is two slightly different versions of the short story with alternate endings. Self Insert x Ryker Chandler (original character)

I've been on my own entire life I figured it was for the best. No parents, one friend. And one big secret to hide. The perfectly hidden until another person like me shows up. I knew I was better off alone. He should of stayed away.

Cassidy is your normal outcast, colored hair, dark makeup, and listens to music all day. What most don't know about Cassidy other than her best friend is shes rich, parents never home only to be raised by her 'psycho nanny', what no one knows not even her best friend is that she has to train ever morning, parents orders. Not understanding why she must train to fight she goes along with it every morning at four, now she finds out what all this training was for. 'I knew I shouldn't have gotten up today.' Thought 16 year old Cassidy Tour as she sat in a tree as the zombie apocalypse unfolded around her. Not understanding what is happening Cassidy or Cass as her best friend Lexi calls her must set out with Lexi and her father Spencer before she to suffers the fate others have. It's a fight for life now
