This story is NOT Billdip in any way, I just wanted to make a lighthearted oneshot of a silly little idea I got in the late hours of the night- ~~~ As the days went by after that fateful summer, Dipper only grew more and more uneasy. This continued on for years, with increasingly odd gifts, up until his 18th birthday where his grunkles suddenly died of a double heart-attack. They had left everything they owned in Gravity Falls Oregan to them. The gifts turned from yearly to monthly in a matter of days, soon weekly. One day, a book he had bought for Bill's statue fluttered open, and instead of clear pages, there were scribbles all over the inside. Words spoken and gifts given can change them in a matter of months if done right. Speak to them like they serve you, they become more loyal. Gift them weapons and armor and they gain more warrior traits. It's fascinating to think of just how different many Dream Demons I've encountered could have been just years before I met them.
