Melody: I know this is weird but please read until the end. Your number was given to me by someone and I thought it would be interesting of you could tell who I am by conversation only. If you would like, you can decide not to participate and I will delete your number from my phone. What do you say? I facepalmed as I reread this. What if he was weirded out by me? I peeked through my fingers when my phone buzzed and the screen lit up with his response. Bane: Let the game begin.

These are my short stories-- the ones that don't need a full book, just a few hundred words and the right mood. Short stories for late nights, empty hours, and anyone who loves quick reads. Every chapter stands alone, but together they make a little collection of moments that feel real. Read one when you're bored, two when you're sad, or all of them when you need a quiet escape. Each chapter is around 400 words-- small enough to finish fast, but detailed enough to pull you in. I write about different moods and moments, so every story feels a little different. Think of this book as a quiet place to breathe between everything else. You'll find love, ache, comfort, jealousy, softness, and everything in between.

Meeting Lilac has my world flipped upside down. She makes me forget about everyone that's suppose to be important to me. I know how can a twenty three year old woman be more important to me then my three kids? Well... I can't tell you I just know I need her.
