Disclaimer This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. The name "Chandler," while used for narrative purposes, is not intended to reference or depict any real individual bearing the same name. Judgment isn't always divine. Sometimes, it's personal. When Chandler-a self-proclaimed moral voice of the internet-lashes out with harsh opinions, hypocrisy, and veiled hatred, he never expects the shadows to take notice. But one night, as the clock strikes 3:33 a.m., his past words come back to haunt him-literally. Pulled into a twisted dimension by Phantom Requiem, a vengeful spectral entity who punishes the prideful and corrupt, Chandler is forced to confront every lie, every insult, and every sin he's cast on others. His PlayStation parties, online chats, and smug sermons become weapons against him in a psychological trial where his own ego is the executioner. As the lines between reality and punishment blur, the evildoer must decide: will he confess and find redemption, or continue down a path that leads straight to eternal silence? Mirror, mirror on the wall... who's the most broken of them all?

She's been broken more times than she can count. Life has taken from her, and men have never given back. Now, she's done. She's done with heartbreak, done with hiding, done with being anything less than herself. A small-town girl with a big heart, she's ready to reclaim her life-one gym session, one solo adventure, one moment of freedom at a time. But when she steps back into the dating world, she discovers it's not as simple as swiping right... or left. Sometimes, the thrill you're looking for isn't online-it's under the bright lights, dust, and danger of the rodeo. Warning: Expect sweat, sparks, passion, heartbreak, and a heroine learning to love herself before anyone else. © 2025 Regan Mattschoss. All rights reserved. This story is my original work and may not be copied, reproduced, or posted elsewhere. 💋 All characters and storylines are mine. Please don't steal my words... I worked too hard for these sparks! Let me know if you're a first time reader. I would love to hear your thoughts!

Late nights, empty streets, and one last bus home. Riya's life has been stuck in an endless loop of deadlines and exhaustion-until a quiet encounter with a stranger changes everything. A mysterious old man, a forgotten paper bag, and a note that makes her question the path she's been taking. Sometimes, the journey you're avoiding is the one waiting just for you

Melody: I know this is weird but please read until the end. Your number was given to me by someone and I thought it would be interesting of you could tell who I am by conversation only. If you would like, you can decide not to participate and I will delete your number from my phone. What do you say? I facepalmed as I reread this. What if he was weirded out by me? I peeked through my fingers when my phone buzzed and the screen lit up with his response. Bane: Let the game begin.

These are my short stories-- the ones that don't need a full book, just a few hundred words and the right mood. Short stories for late nights, empty hours, and anyone who loves quick reads. Every chapter stands alone, but together they make a little collection of moments that feel real. Read one when you're bored, two when you're sad, or all of them when you need a quiet escape. Each chapter is around 400 words-- small enough to finish fast, but detailed enough to pull you in. I write about different moods and moments, so every story feels a little different. Think of this book as a quiet place to breathe between everything else. You'll find love, ache, comfort, jealousy, softness, and everything in between.
