The title "病弱替身不想被宠" Author: Leafy branches (叶桠) [Synopsis] Meng Yuan was so poor he couldn't survive; he eventually worked himself to death on a construction site. When he opened his eyes again, he had become a sickly stand-in in a "dog-blood" angsty novel, diagnosed with less than two years to live. A powerful tycoon, seeing that Meng Yuan's days were numbered, approached him for a fake marriage. In the book, the tycoon was generous to the stand-in but provided money without love, never even bothering to visit him until the day he died. The original stand-in spent every day weeping atop piles of gold, eventually dying of a broken heart. Meng Yuan: "..." In the eyes of a pauper, only one word matters: Money. He even felt that the Heavens had finally opened their eyes, seeing how bitter his previous life was and granting him a two-year opportunity to live as a rich man. Living as a wealthy man was indeed wonderful. The only tricky part was that the tycoon-who, according to the book, was never supposed to show his face-began appearing before Meng Yuan for no reason. Once. Twice. He even started showing a ghost-like concern for Meng Yuan's health. Meng Yuan simply assumed the man was reminding him: Die on time, don't go over the limit. He nodded earnestly: "Don't worry, I know the protocol!" When the two-year "Rich Man Trial Card" expired, Meng Yuan lay contentedly in his hospital bed, waiting for the end. But as the days passed, aside from the occasional flare-up of his illness, there were zero signs of him actually dying. Disclaimer : This story is not mine.

Venus is basically just your average trainer, champion of only two regions, just recently defeated Team Galactic only to find that they are back.
