Between 2011 and 2014, I wrote a set of poems that eventually became a Spanish manuscript titled Talón, part of a three-book series (Talón - Planta - Punta) intended for simultaneous publication. However, my inability to complete the manuscript of Punta, which focused on meta-poetry and meta-language, led me to pursue other projects. I later decided to begin translating some of my work, and over time, the act of translation became an exercise in rewriting the poems themselves. This is how Talón became Distentio Animi.

When Nataly returns to Puerto Rico, it's supposed to be a brief pause-one last breath before moving on. But the island has other plans. A night of music and color shatters under a sudden earthquake, and in the chaos, Nataly locks eyes with a stranger whose presence feels disturbingly familiar. As she digs into the roots of her family's past, Nataly uncovers a land bound by secrets, betrayal, and a sacred tree pulsing with ancestral power. The deeper she gets, the clearer it becomes: nothing about her return is coincidence. And neither is the boy with the haunted eyes. Some inherit money. Some inherit land. Nataly inherited a curse.

The libretto for a 2-act Broadway-style musical about a revolution that plays out on a fictional Latin American coffee plantation. And Diego, the revolutionary leader, is in love with the Dictator's daughter... Love, politics, violence, and consequences. Inspired by my time and travels in Nicaragua, in the lingering aftermath of the Sandinista revolution. Unlike some of my other works of theatre, this one was never staged or published - the large cast, ambitious staging, and musical accompaniment all proved beyond my means at the time. I'll be releasing it here on Wattpad, one song at a time. Follow me to be notified of new updates every Friday. Twenty-five years after the cure was created, society has yet to fully recover from the zombie apocalypse. The Cure is smuggled, bootlegged, hoarded, or hidden away - it has eclipsed the barter system. Though most of the United Mexican States have been reclaimed, Walkers rule what was once Chihuahua and most of Coahuila. Among the Survivors walk Curados - ex-Walkers lucky enough to have received the Cure, whose ruined limbs were replaced by machinery - who now make up one out of every five people. Most of the Curados have identifiable Side Effects. Some have enhanced hearing. Some can smell fear. Some have inexplicable undead strength. Some can control Walkers. Some still hunger for human flesh. Walking the grey lines between Survivor and Walker and Curado is Teddy de Santos, a Carrier of the virus. Though undoubtedly undead - with half a face to prove it - he has a rare condition: all the powers and strength of a Walker, and all the morals and intelligence of a human. Between the gangs, the military, and the desperate, Teddy can't survive much longer alone. Not while the cure for the Walker Virus is the heart of a Carrier.

Here's a concept for your YA novel: Title: "Breaking the Script" Synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Isla Reyes has lived her entire life under the spotlight-not by choice, but because her parents are Hollywood royalty. Her mother, Mei Ling Zhang, is a globally celebrated Asian actress known for her Oscar-winning performances, while her father, Javier Reyes, is a Mexican heartthrob who's dominated the industry for decades. Their world is all about red carpets, flawless public images, and staying in control. But Isla is anything but in control. Struggling with undiagnosed bipolar disorder, addiction, and the suffocating expectations of her family, she spends her nights sneaking out to underground clubs and her mornings numbing herself just to make it through the day. Her grades are slipping, the tabloids are watching, and the only people who seem to get her are her best friend Sasha, an aspiring director, and Luca, a musician who shares her reckless habits. Then there's Camila, the sharp-tongued artist Isla can't stop thinking about, even as she finds herself falling into something dangerous with Luca. As her world spirals, Isla is forced to confront painful truths-about her mental health, her sexuality, and whether she wants to live the life scripted for her or write her own. But breaking free means risking everything, including the love of the parents who never truly saw her. Would you like me to expand on any part-maybe add more about her friendships, family dynamics, or her journey toward healing?❤️‍🩹 She's a ♐️ her friends a Virgo ♍️ and a Pisces ♓️

In this story, you'll encounter the lives of Liam, a closeted gay man, and Joshua, a man considered heterosexual. But what happens when a random guy steals his heart and makes him question his very existence? Set in the 1980s in the United States, specifically in Texas, where queer people were often stigmatized as AIDS spreaders and faced discrimination everywhere. The story is told in the first person. I hope you enjoy it, and if you don't, go f*** yourself :]
