You're a young adult living with your parents in the countryside working and trying to save up to move out. You're also an eccentric and hobbyist who likes to collect nicknacks and trinkets alike, often travelling with your parents to car boot sales, charity shops, and antique shops to add to your collections. One day your parents take you to a car boot sale and you find a woman selling clown themed memorabilia, in particular an antique Jack in the box that particularly caught your attention. You take it home only for odd paranormal events to ensue. Will you survive? AN: this is my own interpretation of laughing jack and their character, so not everything will be cannon. Laughing Jack befriends a young boy named Sammy. Sammy has abusive parents and a strange sister who is always off by herself. Laughing Jack immediately takes a liking to the girl. He hated the rain. Always had and swore he always would. That was at least til one stormy night, as rain pelted Laughing Jack from overhead, he was invited by a girl named (Y/N) to come dance with him. Why? He had no idea.. Regardless, Jack agreed. He and (Y/N) danced in the rain, an odd feeling suddenly sparking inside of his stuffed body as the two twirled and swayed. Months go by after that night, and LJ goes to see (Y/N) almost every day. Every time he goes, that odd feeling only grows and grows. He didn't know what it was but he had questions about it, "Is this.. love?" And if it is.. "would she ever love a killer like me?" {I DO NOT OWN LAUGHING JACK, CREDIT GOES TO SNUFFBOMB!!} (COVER BY ME!! =D)

After witnessing the horrible murders of your parents at the age of 7, you haven't been the same since. You become a mute, shutting yourself out from the world, not doing much. The only company you have are the voices in your head and books. Reading became one thing you loved to do, as well as music. When you finally turn (your age), your adoptive parents try to cheer you up by taking you to the library. Once you get there, you feel a pair of eyes on you. After a week of being paranoid of everyone and everything, your foster parents go on a business trip. You know that whoever is after you, will attack soon. Will you survive the attack? Who has been watching you and what do they want with you?

(Laughing Jack X Reader!) When (F/n) was a child she had what she thought was just an imaginary friend. Except everyone saw him. Once (F/n) is taken with her grandmother at the age of 8 to another state away from her friends and family, Jack soon begins to change.
