To Carol Anne, Thanks for the Memories!
Three women. One pale-yellow Cadillac Coupe de Ville. And a quest for self-discovery left behind by the mothers who knew them best.
Taz, Nicki, and Bianca have spent their lives becoming the women everyone expected them to be. But when their mothers leave behind a peculiar set of instructions-and one very distinctive Cadillac-the three discover that their inheritance isn't money or property.
It's a journey.
Taz is a glamorous free spirit who believes in rolling with the punches. She can turn a disaster into an adventure and a wrong turn into the beginning of a great story.
Nicki is her complete opposite: organized, ambitious, and unapologetically Type A. She has a plan for everything and believes there is a proper way to do nearly anything. Unfortunately, this quest seems determined to challenge every rule she's ever lived by.
Then there's Bianca-the sweet, innocent heart of the trio. She trusts easily, loves deeply, and somehow manages to keep Taz and Nicki from tearing each other apart. Where Taz brings spontaneity and Nicki brings structure, Bianca brings compassion. She is the glue that holds them together.
Following the map their mothers left behind, the three girls travel from one unexpected destination to another, discovering that the quest isn't really about where they're going. Each stop reveals another piece of their mothers' lives-and another piece of themselves.
Taz must learn that freedom doesn't mean avoiding responsibility. Nicki discovers that control isn't the same as security. And Bianca realizes that innocence is not weakness.
Through laughter, tears, outrageous adventures, glamorous detours, and more than a few arguments, the women slowly understand the gift their mothers intended to give them: the freedom to discover who they are without anyone else deciding who they should become.
Because sometimes the greatest journey isn't about finding your way home. It's about finally finding yourself.
