Matt Brown has just lost his wife. Estranged from his daughter and all alone in his flat, he's fending for himself. Dragging laundry to a laundromat is usually dull, but once in a while Life sends you two strangers to spice it up. Meet Susan and Arnie. New to the neighborhood, they are excited to meet new people. Follow these three on an amazing ride as they navigate through highs and lows of their lives together. All the characters in my story are fictional. Please do not use or copy my work. A glimpse into the lives of six young adults as they do laundry.

Instead of a night out on the town, four college students decide to do some loads of laundry and hang out, however they will soon find out that doing laundry at such a time of night will lead to a lot more then fresh clean clothes...

Glen knows that the girl at the laundromat is weird. Like, really weird. She's always sitting in the corner, with absolutely no laundry to do, and listens to music as she stares at everybody go about their washing. Desperate to avoid her at all costs, he tries to stay away. But one day when he's forced to go, he decides to break the ice and ask her name. It's all down hill from there.

When Melanie Sanders is forced to work at the town laundromat for 50 days over the summer, Zach Dunn comes in every day with a new shirt for her to wash. As they see eachother more and more, a connection develops between the two. What will happen when the summer ends?

"Why won't you just leave me alone," Jace growled out, his glare set directly on me. I looked down at my beat up Converse to avoid his intense glare. "Well, you've peaked my interest. I'm just trying to be nice," I whispered the last part out. Jace took my chin between his fingers and lifted my head up so I was forced to look at him. "Do us both a favor," he said, his voice low, "and leave me alone." Riley never liked going to the laundromat, or going anywhere for that matter. She would much rather lay curled up in bed with a good book and pizza than go out and socialize, that is until she meets mysterious Jace who just moved into town and comes off as the jerkiest person in history. Not to mention he's incredibly hot. Through her weekly visits Riley tries to break him out of his shell, there's only one problem. He wants nothing to do with her. Keller is an Insub (Insubstatiary) instead of being born to two parents genetically tied together through governmental means-- he is the result of an affair. As a consequence he is viewed as an abomination, strange, weird-- a threat. He's forced to live on the streets and survive by any means he can in a cruel and unforgiving world. He is captured, taken to the Underworld full of "mistakes" like him. It's an open arena that's constantly shifting, funded by major millionaires of the age who award millions of dollars to the last contestant alive. He's told only this: There is only one way to survive: kill, or be killed.

Laundry is among the basic activities everyone indulges in. The early introduction of laundry machines, which could clean a good number of clothes once was a great stride in this sector. However, that wasn't enough as evidenced by the inception of coin-operated laundry machines. This is attributed to the current advancing technological aspects in all sectors of the economy. Seen as the best innovation in this industry, there are various benefits associated with the use of these laundromats.
