7 Years after Blink and You Die, Ruby and Clancy get married. 1 year after that, they have a daughter. 7 years later, Clancy and Ruby are needed for a mission in Spectrum, one that they won't take their daughter with them. They have no choice but to leave her at home, but with who? The only person they trust that isn't in the mission is the last person who needs to be taking care of a child, espically one so much like her mother. LB! LB agrees, since she thinks that she's also Clancy's daughter and can't be EXACTLY like her mother, she's the head of a secret agency, and is a very successful spy, she can handle a 7 year old child right?! Please pay attention to authors note!!

A/N: I haven't updated this for quite a while, don't know when I will, either. Probably prepare for likely inevitable cringefest in some chapters along with grammatical errors. Hey guys. My name is Lizzie :) This is a story set three years after Blink and You Die. It is about Ruby Redfort and her friends. I do. It own any of these characters they were all created by Lauren Child who wrote all six Ruby Redfort books. I love these stories and I really wanted to write a kind of fanfic version myself. I really hope you enjoy reading it and feel free to leave me feedback in the comments. I am also just doing this for fun as I am currently stuck in quarantine. Ruby Redfort is a mischievous thirteen year old girl from Twinford with some interesting friends. These are just some random one shots that I've come up with. Some characters in these will be that of my full story Once Upon A Time so it might be helpful to read that first. Most characters are from Lauren Child's wonderful books but some are my own. What the title says, an ask blog for Ruby Redfort characters. I won't do LB or Bradley Baker, since there's already an ask blog for them, but I will do one for anyone else.

This story is an alternative ending to Take Your Last Breath by Lauren Child. Basically, Ruby and Clancy are not immediatley found by Hitch and Kekoa.

Ruby Redfort is a 13-year-old agent of a secret agency and has escaped from the clutches from the dreaded enemy- The Count- more than you can count. But there is still something bugging her- which she is soon to find out...

Five years ago, Ruby Redfort was the most feared practitioner of necromancy in the Twinford region. And then she died. The good news: thanks to an unexpected mysterious resurrection; she's now alive, re-equipped with her trusty magical death guitar, and ready for just about anything. The bad news: well, there's a lot of bad news. She's cursed, for one thing. And there's the murder attempts on the head of Spectrum Eight's life, and her undead maybe-possessed best friend, and - there's just a lot going on, okay? Cue sick guitar solo. or; the Untamed/MDZS AU except it's almost exactly nothing like the Untamed and it's probably better if you don't know the show or anything about it because of just how fast and loose I played with the rules and plot.

"You broke rule number one, and how can I have an agent that doesn't listen to me? Regarding Mr Crew... No one outside of the agency can be aware of us, so either we give him the Spectrum field test in two months and recruit him as an agent, or we can wipe his memory; personally, I would hope he passes...", Utter GENIUS Ruby Redfort has escaped trouble at Spectrum one time too many (or so Froghorn thinks), keeping in with her undeniable wits, extreme luck, skill and likeable personality. However, with LB watching her like a hawk and perilous villains on the loose, will she stay at an ultra secret agency as their ace code cracker - or will this lead to a horrific end? And most importantly, can she remember to "keep it zipped"? With new discoveries from people you wouldn't wanna meet, and new cases that are beyond a 13 year old kid's control, how long will she last out... (This is set between the third and forth book of the series) A perfect addition to the Ruby Redfort series by Lauren Child, fans who have read the books who are impatiently waiting at the edge of their seats to hear more about their favourite annoying 13 year old code cracker will not be disappointed.
