In the last sequel, Ruby Redfort comes face to face with LB's twin sister Clarice and narrowly escapes her clutches. Sixteen year old Ruby seems ordinary to anyone who didn't know her properly. Just your average kid in Twinford, who had an extraordinary brain. But to those few Ruby trusted, she was a secret agent. Spectrum 8's youngest recruit. But when a psycho who she hoped to be dead returns mysteriously after three years of absence, will her super brain be enough? After all, The Count wasn't exactly stupid. With a little help from her friends and her husky dog Bug, she might just make it to New Year's Eve alive. No promises though. Besides when juggling school, work and your secret crush something is bound to go wrong. And unfortunately for Ruby, The Count will not go down without a fight. Hey guys. this is a story about sixteen year old Ruby Redfort and her friends. I am not claiming to own any of these characters. They were all created by the very talented author, Lauren Child who wrote six incredible books about these characters. Currently I am stuck in quarantine and I thought it might be fun to write a fanfic about this series. This story is set three years after blink and you die and I hope you all love it. I don't think I am a very good writer and so am in no way claiming to be. I'm just a kid trying to fill some time. This story is an alternative ending to Take Your Last Breath by Lauren Child. Basically, Ruby and Clancy are not immediatley found by Hitch and Kekoa.

This is the Ruby Redfort story run by a few people, and we have set this up as sort of a fan page. No one outside of the agency can be aware of us, so either we give him the Spectrum field test in two months and recruit him as an agent, or we can wipe his memory; personally, I would hope he passes...", Utter GENIUS Ruby Redfort has escaped trouble at Spectrum one time too many (or so Froghorn thinks), keeping in with her undeniable wits, extreme luck, skill and likeable personality. However, with LB watching her like a hawk and perilous villains on the loose, will she stay at an ultra secret agency as their ace code cracker - or will this lead to a horrific end? And most importantly, can she remember to "keep it zipped"? With new discoveries from people you wouldn't wanna meet, and new cases that are beyond a 13 year old kid's control, how long will she last out... (This is set between the third and forth book of the series) A perfect addition to the Ruby Redfort series by Lauren Child, fans who have read the books who are impatiently waiting at the edge of their seats to hear more about their favourite annoying 13 year old code cracker will not be disappointed. A/N: I haven't updated this for quite a while, don't know when I will, either. Probably prepare for likely inevitable cringefest in some chapters along with grammatical errors. Sort of regret writing this so might take it down one day. Chance I'll run through this mess and edit some time. Working on way too many other WiPs, left the RR fandom a while back. My bad. And Lorelei really needs to stop being sentimental.. owing someone, a kid especially, isn't going to help her fulfill her dream of world domination, not when that kid's got problems of their own that Lorelei has to help them with. As the Count gets closer and closer to immortality, Ruby must make a choice: save the boy she loves or save the girl she hates? Turns out the Mars Mushrooms aren't the only thing the Count needs. The only question is, Will Ruby figure out how Kaina can grant him what he wants, before it's too late? Before LB's secret is revealed, before the Count destroys Spectrum from the inside out?
