All she does know is that she will do anything to protect her family including risking people knowing her own secret.

Lauren and Andy both discover their powers and are now on the run. Being alone can they survive or will they find help from fellow mutants. And lets not forget the soul marks on their wrist. Will they find their destined person, read to find out.

Casey was always different. She developed her abilities when she was eight. She hid it for ten years, keeping the secret from the people closest to her. She ran away when she was sixteen. Away from her parents, her siblings, and met Lorna Dane. She introduced the new runaway to the Mutant Underground and has been there since. She found love, and a new family, but what happens when her younger siblings gets in trouble. They're found out as mutants and Casey must do her best to protect them for as long as she can.

If only she hadn't tried to protect her mother, if she didn't she probably wouldn't be in this mess.

A One-shot/character study. Mostly focuses on Lauren and Andy. It's set three months after the finale on a similar basis to my other story where Clarice never shows up at the end. I got bored and thought of this idea so I wrote it. Here ya go!

This story consists after the events of the finale of the Gifted TV show. Except this is a what if. so I have changed the outcome of that episode. the Inner circle won and achieved their goal of blowing up the government and starting a mutant homeland. the story takes place a few years after when Dawn the daughter of Marcos and Lorna has chosen to fight back and bring back the mutant underground.
