Licht hates that stupid demon he is contracted to, but his hate may be overwritten by another emotion when he finds Lawless sick. Now he must decide what to do with the moronic animal that got himself sick. Then when the rat starts to feel better, things start to test Licht's feelings toward him. Hyde watches his eve sleep sometimes, the comforting breaths he takes relaxing him. One night Litcht wakes up and catches him watching him, but his reaction is one he never expected.
