Just HAD to make a story bout my cutie patootie😋😋😋 btw the music doesn't really have any relevance to the story they just help me lock in better😭😭

Twenty-year-old Kaori Inoue recently graduated from a local Japanese university after completing an accelerated coding course, proving extremely helpful to her infamous role as a hacker using the alias 'KI.' Only one person knew this secret -- an elusive character using the name 'Lawliet' who she only knew through his kind, encouraging, and supportive text messages. After her mother passed away, Lawliet became Kaori's pillar of strength. However, her remarkable talent as a hacker doesn't go unnoticed by the renowned 'L.' Almost as soon as Kaori graduates, L tries to use her skills in the troublesome Kira Case. But she has no choice -- she must assist the Kira Case, or L would send her to jail. Little does she know, L is actually the person most precious to her. (I do not own Death Note, L, or any other characters from the series. I only own my original character: Kaori Inoue.)

"I'm pretty sure you'll love it." she reassured "How sure are you?" the detective was just playing with her, not expecting an answer. "Like 89%" she nodded. So different but yet so similar L thought. ================ Y/n Kitamura has a messy past and present which prevents her from being happy but what if she were to find something else that'd make her smile...like the world's greatest detective?

Ami Amaya never was an average girl who got adopted in Japan by the Yagami household. From being born to her present life, there's always been something special about her. She has telekinesis. Being a human, that power wasn't capable of much as she could only gently sway a flower by just staring at it; however, that is all about to change when her natural ability is combined with a gift from a special Shinigami. A death note is also given to her along with a task; to save the Shinigami world from an unknown force that is about to be revealed. A bored Shinigami, who suddenly feels curious, decides to drop a death note he obtained from the Shinigami king. A bored genius picks it up and starts using the power to his advantage; to become the god of the new world; one without any criminals and with only good, honest, and hardworking people. The death note allows him to kill anybody by writing their full name down while picturing their face. He starts using it to eliminate criminals and people who he considers as a threat. The famous detective L gets involved and is trying his very best to capture Kira, which was the name given to the person killing the criminals. Who will win this battle? Will Ami be able to save the Shinigami Realm, and whose side is she on? Kira or L? Meanwhile, another mythical being enters Ami's life, bringing her more peril and complication than she can imagine. This is a Death Note fanfiction along with the magic part, which is an idea I got. Ami is an original character (I went on Google and searched up Japanese names). I tried my very best to stick with the Death Note anime plot. Obviously there are going to be huge changes. Hope you like it. There are two things that really get on L's nerves. Stealing his cake, and seeing children used as punching bags. So when he sees a young girl driven to jumping off of a third floor balcony by her abusive mother, he steps in. After meeting the rest of the Wammy boys, this girl will eventually become part of a close, slightly dysfunctional, family. May be some OC/Near but nothing else romance related Mostly focusing on the girl's life with L. Rating may change due to cursing *coughMelloMattcough* and just some general dark themes like abuse and angst. Other than that, enjoy my second story!
