A romantic short story where two young people, with the most unlikely attributes, fall in love as they face the perils, the promises and the blessings as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

So this is a true story, my story. I fell for a missionary serving in my home town. Mormon missionaries can not date or even have romantic feelings while on their missions, so why I allowed myself to like this guy is something I will never understand.

*On Hiatus* Sariah is your regular every day good girl. Ha! She wishes! She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or more commonly known as a Mormon. Without even that information, people treat her as an outcast. She is the only one of her faith at her school, and no one holds her standards. She is constantly faced with the same question. Why can't everyone just except me for who I am? Then she meets Logan. He's a sweet outcast, like her. They talk and spend time with each other, but Sariah is worried about what happens next. She's only 14 year old, and doesn't know what she wants to do with her life. Hello! Just your average run of the mill modern Mormon Girl and teenage aspiring writer! Haha, I wish there was a 'normal' member of my church! No, but I'm excited to start writing this book! I have wanted to do this for the longest time. You are a son or daughter of God, and our hearts reach out to you in warmth and affection. Notwithstanding your present same-gender attractions, you can be happy during this life, lead a morally clean life, perform meaningful service in the Church, enjoy full fellowship with your fellow Saints, and ultimately receive all the blessings of eternal life. The Book of Mormon prophet Nephi voiced feelings we all have when he acknowledged that he did not "know the meaning of all things." But he testified, "I know that [God] loveth his children" (1 Nephi 11:17). God does indeed love all His children. Many questions, however, including some related to same-gender attractions, must await a future answer, even in the next life. But God has revealed simple, unchanging truths to guide us.
