A eevee and umbreon try to start a new life in plasma town after an incident 5 years prior that left them without parents. And the eevee (Milo) makes friends with his classmates and sunshine and axel. While the umbreon (Zack) tries to find stable employment that isn't either being a rescuer or an explorer. But their past catches up with them and a mayor candidate is trying to get eeveelutions and eevees banished from plasma town if he is elected.

The girl looked at the fluffy dragon, though the name was obviously a nickname, "It's grim magic!" One of the senior students repeatedly exclaimed, making the meteor girl raise a brow, Little did they know this was not Grim Magic, it was something much, much more dangerous. Red and Ash are reimagined as brothers and Red is the oldest. Also to add, Blue and Gary are reimagined as brothers too and Blue is the oldest. Green does and appear and is Ash's and Gary's third and she is reimagined as Leaf's sister. Leaf is also the oldest. Red, Blue, and Leaf are 14 years old and Ash, Gary, and Green are 10 years old.
