Their families live directly across from each other, Day has suspected for a while that Peem might like guys. After overhearing arguments at Peem's house and realizing Peem is struggling with his family, Day creates a fake account called "doodlebug" pretending to be another guy from his department. The plan is simple. Find out if Peem is gay. Maybe give him someone safe to talk to. And, most importantly, help him realize that there's nothing wrong with who he is. Except Day didn't account for one thing. Peem starts falling for Doodlebug. And somewhere between late-night conversations, ridiculous flirting, and secrets that Peem has never trusted anyone else with, Day realizes that he's falling too. For his best friend. Through a fake identity. What starts as a harmless attempt to understand his best friend turns into something neither of them knows how to handle-a story about friendship, first love, family, identity, and learning that sometimes the person you need to fall in love with first is yourself.

Just a little something i made cus why not. This story is more based on Leap Day than Taste but this isn't the original Leap Day story, I changed it a bit.
