Set in August 2006, in the quiet town of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Marley Rose Harlow begins a new chapter at a brand-new school. Navigating the challenges of 7th grade, she quickly becomes a target for bullies-made worse by her struggle with a learning disability. But everything changes when she meets Jason "Jace" Beckett, an understanding and kind-hearted 8th-grader who sees beyond her struggles. "With her newfound love for photography, every click of Marley Rose's camera captures a moment that reflects her own story-one frame at a time, in more ways than she ever imagined." As their friendship deepens, Jace becomes Marley's safe space. But life takes them in different directions, and nearly a decade later, they're on separate paths-until fate unexpectedly brings them back together. Now grown and facing a different kind of world, their connection reignites. In this modern retelling of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Marley and Jace must confront not only their shared past but also the obstacles that threaten to tear them apart again. Can love defy the odds, or will family pressures and old wounds drive them apart once more?

Ruth has a secret: she is mentally unable to retain information she doesn't find striking or interesting, long term or short term. The second something's in front of her she knows it instinctively, like one knows their own name, acing all her exams effortlessly and answering questions with ease - however, she has no idea what she looks like until she sees herself in the mirror, knows little to nothing about pop culture, and often-times forgets her own address. In fear of what would happen if someone found out about her condition, Ruth goes through her life pretending to be normal: going as far as feigning delinquency and rarely attending classes as to not draw attention to herself or her apparent intelligence. However, when in her senior year of high school, one of her classmates Abel finds out that she receives stellar grades without any obvious effort and wants in, blackmailing her into tutoring him so he can graduate with his class. The more time they spend together, the more they begin to become friends - and the closer Ruth gets to Abel, the closer Abel get's to the truth. Soon enough, Ruth finds herself involved in a calculated game of chess with a boy who doesn't even know he's playing - and to her horror, he's winning.

This book is about what 22q deletion is and how I live my life with it. I've had some struggles with 22q deletion, but I have achieved so much throughout the years of my life. I couldn't be more happier with myself! It hasn't been easy because some battles have been hard, but with my son, family and friends being there for me through everything has helped me out so much. I can't believe how much I am out of my shell. It's crazy seeing how much I've grown! I love everyone so much for accepting and loving me for who I am! 🙌😘

Lorelei is a timid, passive mermaid princess of Baltica, a tiny merfolk kingdom in the cool, brackish Northeastern Ocean. Nixie, her beautiful Tailmaiden(or in human terms, handmaiden), hides a humiliating secret. This is the tale(tail?) of two very different mermaids, told in alternating perspectives. A loose retelling of The Goose Girl by the Brothers Grimm with mermaids, set in the same whimsical and detailed mermaid universe as Kae-Leah Williamson's previous novellas, but it can be read as a stand-alone. Formerly Known As "A Tailmaiden's Tale"

CONTENT WARNING: description of injury/blood. This is a memoir/personal narrative essay that I wrote for my Junior English class back in 2015. I ended up winning a Silver Key for it in the Maine Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and had it published in a book: Maine Teen Writing 2016, a collection of works written by middle and high school students. It has its flaws, but this memoir helped me take the first big step to becoming a "real" writer. Enjoy! -Cierra L Anctil (P.S., I'm new to this whole Wattpad thing, so I couldn't figure out how to "tab" new paragraphs. Sorry if the formatting seems odd because of that!)

As someone with ADHD, I have heard the same things over and over. The title speaks for itself. This is a book for my fellow ADHDers, and I hope this is relatable to you all. I also hope that this book reaches those who do not have ADHD. If you have a friend that has this then maybe this will help you understand how our brain works. Our brain does not work the same. I hope to not only reach other ADHDers but also help people understand that we are people too. 31 in education out of 13.4K stories 9/21/23

Some of the biggest names in science, trade, and movies struggled in school with their thinking and learning differences. It may be hard to believe, but many people we know that made the world a better place were, in fact, dyslexic. Steven Spielberg, Keira Knightley, and Salma Hayek are some of Hollywood's brightest stars - and they all have dyslexia. The greatest minds in history, like Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawkings, and Pablo Picasso were also all dyslexic. Richard Branson and Steve Jobs are mega-successful dyslexic entrepreneurs who turned their brainchild into billion-dollar companies. https://www.riffitnow.com/blog/how-dyslexia-helped-three-famous-people-succeed-beyond-imagination
