A young deer learns not to judge others by their looks, but on how they act. She learns this by an old turtle's words that are filled with wisdom. This children's story is a twist on the old saying "Don't judge a book by its cover, but on what's inside." (This story is aimed towards young children.)

This is a short story about a girl named Sarah going for a bike ride and learning a very important lesson. That lesson being, you shouldn't judge someone before you get to know them.

"Forward March! Left! Left! Left right left! Right Face. Platoon halt! This is what I heard everyday. We had to get into our platoons and March around the base, in sync( in step) with the soldiers. That's it for now, until next time! Seaman Drew.
