She was self conscious about her appearance as a result of her scar. She didn't think anything about it other than she wished she never had it. She didn't like having a scar like this one. She fears what other people will think of her beauty as a result of having this scar on her. Can she learn to love her appearance despite the scar? Can she learn that beauty isn't defined by appearance but by the way a person's soul is?

I understand why you're afraid to be your true self but trust me when I say that nothing will ever change the joy you bring to my life. I will always and forever love you for who you truly are as a person. Plus life in Tulsa is already not the greatest anyways so it shouldn't control whether or not you are being your true self.
