What would you do if you loved your best friend? You would tell him, right? That’s easier said than done. Destery Smith has loved his best friend Nate for as long as he can remember, but there’s just a few problems with that. Nate is straighter than a pole and though he isn't homophobic, he makes it clear that the idea of dating a guy repulses him. He makes it quite known that he could never date a friend, let alone his best friend. So what does Destery do? The most logical thing he can think of: pretend that he doesn't love Nate. Seems simple enough, right? Wrong. Everything was going according to plan. Destery pretended that his feelings didn't exist, and Nathan never suspected a thing. Life was good.
