Fortunately, we have Kang Sin Jae (Hyeon Min), something changes but not immediately and maybe it was a little bit too late. They get dreams sometimes of people with similar features. Lee Gon doesn't have the memories at first but it eventually comes back and it's up to him to decide the future.
