Leela is a shy, creative geek. Taylor is her enemy, popular, pretty and she won't stop bullying Leela. Olivia is stuck in the middle, she's Leela's best friend, Taylor wants to be her friend and she's so kind she doesn't want to be mean to even her best friends enemy. Leela's mother died when she was a baby. Taylor's father left her and her mother when Taylor was five. One day their parents meet and Leela's worst nightmare happens.

Leela wanted to run away. To leave the life that she got into behind, but she was stuck. Being engaged to one of the bosses was something that she had come accustomed to. She felt safe with him, yes, but she wasn't completely in love with him. He was her safe place in all the chaos. The day he was murdered in right in front of her was the day she lost all hope. Things got worse before they got better. Her best friend, Harry, helped her as much as he could, but would they stay alive? Will she loose her sanity completely just to gain a peaceful life? Would she ever tell Harry how she really felt about him?
