"WHEN FIRE MEETS FATE" Princess Daiyin of the Fire Nation has been chosen to train the new Avatar in her fire bending skills. The rather practical, sometimes emotionless princess travels with Korra to Republic City, where things start to get interesting with both the Avatar and her own family dynamic.

Ava was raised in Zaofu by her aunt after her mother left her there days after she was born. There she grew up, the oldest of her five cousins. After twenty five years of dreams to meet her mother it's finally a reality, but not for the reasons she wanted. She is there because of the Avatar, who came because her cousin Opal gained airbending.

Kanna, granddaughter of Avatar Aang and Master Katara. Iroh II, grandson of Fire Lord Zuko, son of Fire Lady Izumi. Kanna is a 23-year-old water and airbender. She has no explanation as to why or even how she is a dual bender. All she knows is that it has caused her trouble in the past and put a target on her back. She's always stayed safe in the Southern Water Tribe, so how will she fare in the big city when she's sent in to help her uncle, Tenzin, deal with Amon and protect Avatar Korra whilst also overcoming her own traumatising past? She won't be able to do it without her childhood friend/lover General Iroh II. DISCLAIMER: I don't own anything ATLA or LoK, I own Kanna and other characters. The story doesn't really include that much of the Legend of Korra plot, it more focuses on Kanna and Iroh growing up and her facing her trauma! Also this is my first book so pls be kind and lmk how I can improve on my writing!!!

One she faces her fears, she realises how much she matters, that she really was worth loving all along, and is finally able to face the world with open arms and open eyes. ||General Iroh II x Original Character|| A few choice pieces of knowledge about this book: 1. It's very close to my heart. It was my first fanfiction EVER, and I used it as a platform to write about a great deal of insecurities in my "real" life. So, most of the stuff you read about Bao is actually about me (unsurprisingly). 2. I wrote part of it about five years ago and finished it more recently, so there is a (relatively) dramatic shift in style about halfway in. I think the first parts are ehhh but it gets really fine tuned by the end. I didn't go back and edit the earlier parts, but if you stick around the whole time, it only gets better as you go! ||Once more, thank you, to everyone who liked this, and told me so!
