For 16 year old Althena Mercia, seeing the sun as become a wish. The sun has been unable to be seen since she was 2 weeks old. There was a war that had killed the royals that possessed the magic to harness light and day. Now living in a world coated by eternal night, Althena wants nothing more than to bring light. Althena starts having weird moments where light has swarmed her palm. Eventually, she learns how to control this magic that shouldn't exist. Let alone, a lower-class girl like her to have magic at all is unheard of. Will the magic allow Althena to bring back the sun in their world?
