In this strange world, the owls have mutated to more human. They trade wings and flight with arms lined with feathers and longer talons. They are incredibly smart forming gates and kingdoms. Think Stolas from Helluva Boss. Kludd becomes a soldier and involved in an everlasting war. Their kingdom is being threatened by savages from the north... humans, mindless killers that are growing in numbers.

The story follows Lincoln , a young Eclipse Fury who is captivated by his father's tales of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, a legendary group of warrior beasts. After a jealous act by his older Rathalos brother Kludd leads to their kidnapping by the Pure Ones, Lincoln escapes with the help of fellow captive Gylfie. Together, they seek out the Guardians to warn them of the Pure Ones' evil plans to enslave every creature and to find a way to save their kingdom
