When Link wakes after one hundred years of slumber and no recollection of the past, he must struggle to remember who he is. Author's note: My version on Fanfiction is a little different than the norm. I find myself more interested in what's already there rather than creating all new material. When I initially began writing this, it was basically Breath of the Wild through Link's POV. Although I quickly found myself bored writing the whole story and wanting to focus solely on the memory flashbacks. So this fanfic is just that. It follows Links memories in chronological order. (Although this contains a bit of edited and new material to strengthen Link and Zelda's bond.) I've always wanted to write through Link's perspective. The idea has always been fascinating to me because he's just so stoic and quiet. So that begs the questions: what is he thinking, what is he feeling? I'd like to shine a little light on the situation. :)

They barley remember the last time they played The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword. It just completely went over their head and thought it was just another stupid gamer phase. One day you noticed the new Legend of Zelda Breath Of The Wild game has been released. Since you have payed off everything and have been saving up for quite a while, you buy a Nintendo Switch and the new game. Though, the cashier warns the player that you should wait for another copy, which will take about a few weeks, you insisted and got the copy someone returned the same day for something... disturbing that happened while playing. You honestly didn't know what could be disturbing, but decided to risk it. This story will be a lot different than in the game, but it still does contain spoilers! It'll be like a poly relationship between you, Link, and Zelda!

This is an AU placed 100 years before BotW, and switches the spot between Zelda and Link. This is the tale of Link, the Hero of Hyrule, with.. a twist? I write this story from Link's awakening in Breath of the Wild from his perspective, in the form of a diary written by the hero himself. I hope to let this tale play out in full without too much nonsuch and filler fluff, but I will be playing the game as I always have and I always get distracted. Also as I myself have the attention span of a spoon, I may never finish this. But we can hope ^^; It is unlikely I will set myself a schedule for this right now, but perhaps if I have a lot written in the future I may release "chapters" regularly. I plan for each chapter to be a week of Link's diary entries, but depending on the length of some days it may be more or less per chapter. Or perhaps there will just be longer chapters sometimes.

So, I just watched the new Alien movie, and it was pretty amazing in my own opinion. And I'm very much into Zelda right now, so I thought it would be cool to take those precious babies and send them into space to be destroyed and ripped apart by aliens. Fun, right? Well, it is basically the remixed plot of Alien Covenant with the beautiful BotW characters. I will be including ships, the most obvious being Sidlink. If this gets popular then put ships down in the comments of the first chapter and I'll look into doing them. EDIT: Okay, hi, it's been like a year since I updated on here. I might pick this back up at some point, once I rewatched alien, but for now it's inactive :,)

Only when he awoke was there learning. Of the wild, of the wind, of a land called Hyrule and a Castle holding a girl so desperately waiting for his return... While he was asleep there were brief moments where he could have remembered it all. Those few brief moments could have saved those fleeting memories. The next Champions Sidon, Teba, Riju, and Yunobo have returned to the present after the fight with the Calamity only to find out they will pilot the Divine Beasts. Queen Zelda explains they will need to find the next Knight to seal the darkness in case the Calamity were to return. But what if the next Knight is a Hylian friend of Teba who was trained by Revali? Reincarnation was something that people believed for years. Some tried to prove that it can happen, some even killed themselves to be born many years later in a new life. Even through there have been many YouTube videos and articles created by some guy that wants to become a legend as he still lives with his mom, you, Y/N, can't be easily convinced that reincarnation is certainly possible to those who are lucky. But what would you do if you somehow find out that your fate isn't as simple as you made it up it to be. I mean, how would finding out you've been reincarnated from a totally different world, considered simple. And being told to assist an legendary hero on a quest to vanquish an new evil is most definitely not on your bucket list. Though knowing you and your horrible sense of humor, I'm sure you can power though it. So, with that aside, are you strong enough to travel and survive around the unfamiliar world, fighting through every problem along a lost hylian legend who calls himself Link?
