The war on the land dwellers was brutal, so much so that the Goddess tore a piece of the Earth containing the remaining peoples and brought them into the sky to launch an attack upon her enemies on the Surface. The carnage was horrific, even as she succeeded in sealing away the root of all evil in the Sealed Grounds.
Though the land below had been forgotten by Skyloft's inhabitants due to the cloud barrier barring their vision until all that remained of the War and the Surface were mere myth, many tend to overlook a key factor and influence of the War between humanity and monsters. Though appearing on opposite ends, the Goddesses set their intertwined plans into motion for when destiny would call upon their chosen ones to save their world.
And just what led up to the devastating War waged by the Demon King to gain the ultimate power in the land?
For better - or for worse - we'll just have to wait and see. . .
