Meanwhile, Link is sent to save a usually warm village from a curse of seemingly endless winter. When Dark Link's obsession with the Snow Maiden interferes with Link's quest to save the lives of the village, Link will have to rediscover the definition of murder.

This book stars Link and the Champions messing around in a group chat on Sheikah Slates. The timeline takes place one year before the Calamity, though I will incorporate a few creative elements that aren't necessarily linked to the actual timeline. This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. Any feedback is appreciated, as well. "When was the last time it has ever been peaceful around here?" Peace. It was a complicated word, according to a boy living in the small village of Kino. Kino was a small village against violence, people went to temples everyday to pray for the end of war, death, pain, and the calamity. And lived their lives in constant fear. Why? Well only the so called "protectors" of the village were the only ones who knew how to fight. There was a small amount of them, who knew a small amount about combat. And they were wusses. There wasn't one week that had gone without death in the town due to frequent monster attacks. It was like this village was cursed. The townsfolk couldn't save themselves or rely on the guards for safety. They were never comforted by the leaders saying to "Stand aside and you will be safe." No one was permitted to learn how to fight or they were exiled. But you weren't going to stand to the side anymore. "We will never find peace with monsters like this roaming our world, and letting them do as they please."

Link is known as the Silent Knight. But he wasn't always this way, he used to be the happiest kid in the world. His family was always by his side no matter what. But will the happy times last? The calamity Ganon has been defeated and Hyrule is in the process of being rebuilt, however mysteries remain and link will embark on a journey down memory lane to uncover the truth about his past.
