A story set in the twilight of the Roman Republic revolving around a young Roman Commander by the name of Servius Maximus Asinius and his friends and family as they try to survive an ever-changing world.

From the ashes rose the new Empire, with Neler at its head. Using poison, he murdered all who opposed him. Soon, a rebellion arose. These short stories tell about the history of all in between.
