Hello! This story is based on a two shot I did that I decided to make into a full story! This is my first full story for batjokes! About: joker and Harley go out to steal some jewelry when joker finds a beautiful blue diamond! It reminds him of his batsy so when Batman comes to fight like normal, joker just gives him the diamond. Batman is very confused by this and when he sees joker again, he starts to question his feelings for the clown. When he realizes these feelings, he is conflicted with his feelings towards joker and his job. Drama between the criminal and hero, as they both try to make a relationship work. (It's mostly just Lego batjokes, anyways I hope you enjoy!) Batman, on the other hand, feels nothing whatsoever, until Joker's situation is brought into the spotlight... Welcome to my first ever book to be written :D Well anyways, as the title stated as 'Gotham shorts' it would most likely to be filled with incorrect quotes, short stories (if I do have the motivation to write one) and maybe fanarts if I have the time to draw. Not only that, it will also contains ships such as wayleska (a ship between Bruce Wayne and Jeremiah Valeska) and maybe any other joker/batman characters from different timeline or universe. Oh and a little heads up before we do continue is that English isn't exactly my first language so please do forgive me if there are any grammatical errors in my writings.

Saying 'I hate you' was hard enough for Batman to do... That meant saying 'I love you' would be even harder.

The Joker is Batman's greatest enemy, but he can't help but (subconsciously) wish for it to be a little something more. To get his mind off Batman, Haley suggests the Joker go out and meet someone. And who does he run into but Bruce Wayne himself! He'll have to deal with coming too terms with his complicated relationship with Batman while attempting (and failing) to deny his emerging feelings for Bruce. When all is said and done, he'll have to choose between the two. Won't he? --------------------------------------------------- Batman and the Joker are greatest enemies, but Batman feels like hatred isn't really the right word for what he's feeling. While contemplating how to deal with the confusing situation, he runs into the Joker, but as Bruce Wayne. Batman soon realizes that this is exactly the way he can have a proper relationship with the Joker without ruining their current one. But as time passes, he's more and more reluctant to fight the Joker, and with his behavior changes, he might end upon blowing his cover and losing the protection of his alter ego forever.

This is my first not joke story I've published, I'll try update his regularly but I can't make any promises. Let me know if y'all are enjoying it, maybe when I finish it I'll do a telltale batjokes story :) Batman's POV Taking place About 2 weeks after the city was saved, Bats can't stop thinking about joker and how they help hands, and confessed their HATRED for one another in front of that romantic sunset, and how warm and fuzzy he felt inside. I think they call it butterflies?? But that only happens when you're nervous or like someone wait a second. Bats just noticed something odd, he doesn't really hate joker at all? Like he used to look at him and feel like punching that stupid grin off his face but... now? Now he wants to see joker smile and hear his adorable laugh... adorable???? Did he just say adorable?! No he didn't.... right? Jokers POV Joker just won't shut up about his darling batsy, how they held hands and how he TOTALLY has a crush on him. Poor Harley having to hear about this so much. Heh, whatever. Anyways ever since about a week ago or so he noticed that Bats seems more distant, like not around him or when he was wanting it over quickly, somethings off, but what could it be? Maybe that bat likes the clown? No, no that's not it, it can't be! Batsy would never feel the same way joker does! He's probably just tired of him.

After batman and the joker confesses there love for eachother, Batman realizes that he felt something more than hate towards the joker. Does the joker like him the same way, or does he just want hate? (Cover art is not mine)

One of Joker's creations have turned against him, causing destruction throughout Gotham City. Batman and Robin will have to try to defeat it, but Batman faces some crazy things that he never thought would of happened...EVER.
