The only human she's ever seen has been Gandalf the Grey. He had found her as a babe and took care of her. He read her stories of terrible creatures, told her tales of adventure. She longs to leave the cave she calls home, but she's afraid to. She had left once and the humans she found tried to kill her since she looked strange, leaving her to fear everyone, save for Gandalf. But the day comes when a group of orcs find her, searching for something. The orcs force her to flee her home and she runs into an old friend.

Marianna is a wolf elf that Aragorn found when she was little since then he's raised her so when she joins the fellowship with him and he notices a certain elf likes her he's definitely going to be overprotective
