This will be the story of a young girl that decided to kill herself. She jumps of a bridge and, has flashbacks of her whole life in a rush, both good and bad memories come up. When she opens her eyes and feels herself drowning she regrets her decisionand wonders : was it even worth it? .......................................................... Leila Olivia Grace has it great. Except from the fact that her mum still likes sleeping with her cheating dad, and she has to raise two kids on her own, even though she's only sixteen, they're her sisters, and she still has to juggle school on top of all this. So yeah. Great.

Secrets, spies, and adventure. Welcome to Leila's story. As a young spy, Leila is on a classified mission which includes dodging bullets and running for your life. When she meets another young spy, Conner, from the enemy's side, she convinces him that she's on his side. He appears to trust her and let his guard down, but little does Leila know that he can read her mind. Conner knows her plan to trick him all along, and for some reason, they find trust in each other. In the end, Leila and Conner discover a world that only belongs to them, and a life that they were meant to live together. Rated PG-13 for some violence!! This was a creative writing assignment that I wrote Freshman year of high school and then rewrote my Junior year. This a short story, only one chapter long, but I spent a lot of time writing it! Inspiration is from the song "Mombasa", composed by Hans Zimmer. The song is on the Inception soundtrack. I did not know anything about The Hunger Games when I wrote this! When my teacher graded it, she told me it had a "Hunger Games quality to it", so I went and read the books. *This is not a Hunger Games fanfiction!!* Yes, the cover is Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games! I really liked how this picture portrayed the story, even though it has nothing to do with The Hunger Games!! Enjoy! -Jess

Leila Hale prides herself on making money by doing the right thing. She is an accident and injury lawyer in Henderson, Nevada, and opened her practice-Hale Injury Law-in 2014. Leila loves music and movie, and she takes regular family trips with her children and grandchildren. She donates to Toys for Tots as well as the Lullaby Connection to support children in underserved populations.
