DISCLAIMERS! (Scroll down) -------------- Things seem to be looking up for the three (now Four) Baudelaires. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny began as very intelligent people who were charming and resourceful with pleasant facial features and they will certainly end that way. Be aware that this book contains a joyful reunion, a sleuth invitation, four suspects, and blueberry muffins and while it is nowhere near as woeful as the orphans' previous experiences, it is equally as mysterious and as curious. If you want to, you can look away, but it's best advised that you don't, unless you'd rather stare at a wall for the rest of the unfortunate situation the world finds itself in. -------------- 1. This is a very book-canon story. I love the Netflix series, but I wanted this to be a sort of "realistic" continuation of my boy Lemony Snicket's work. 2. I write most of this on my phone and since autocorrect is infuriating, there may be a few mistakes. PLEASE comment so I can correct them. 3. I'm re-reading the books because I haven't read them in AGES so if something is incorrect, know that I will fix it after I read the books. 4. This story will end up being a very intense mystery, but with a very happy ending. Be warned! 5. Constructive criticism is helpful. Rudeness is not :) 6. The story continues on with the Baudelaires coming upon a storm which lands them into Briny Beach which was how the cycle of their unfortunate events began. They are soon got a mission from VFD to go to a school VFD has secretly built for a few years now. Now here are the big questions : Will they reunite with their friends? Will they be able to protect their new called guardian? Can they stop the fires? Will they get the sugar bowl back? Can they stop the villains' treachery? Or will they be ok?

Dear reader, If you have stumbled upon this book and are hoping for a fun prequel to the tragic lives of the Baudelaire orphans full of love and friendship, you are sorely mistaken. This early tale is no less hurtful nor unfortunate than the books you know, hate, and hopefully avoid.
