Beatrice Baudelaire is rushed to the hospital by her husband when she goes into labor, leaving her two children, Violet and Klaus, alone in the Baudelaire mansion. When at the hospital, Beatrice's husband, Bertrand, calls up some old friends to look after his children while they're gone: the Quagmires. - "What if the Quagmires and the Baudelaires (minus Sunny, for obvious reasons) met before Prufrock Prep/the Mortmain Mountains?" Welp thats what this fic is about so knock yourself out. PG-13 for some minor swearing. Consists of fluff in the beginning but toward the end we deep-dive into the characters and it gets, well, deep.

I would hope we are all familiar with the work of Lemony Snicket, specifically A Series of Unfortunate Events. I have created an AU for the beloved series, and for those of you don't know, an AU is short for Alternate Universe. It means a different way of telling a story. After escaping her evil parents , Isadora Duncan seeks help from a secret organisation named VFD. Her plan seems simple , until she meets some misterious siblings : The Baudelaires.

It has been weeks since the Baudelaires including Beatrice have left the island and are own sailing on the blue ocean. They thought they were finally having their happily ever after. But like what Lemony Snicket said, "Sometimes a chapter might end, but that doesn't mean that the story isn't over. Some stories go on, even after the storyteller has stopped telling them". The story continues on with the Baudelaires coming upon a storm which lands them into Briny Beach which was how the cycle of their unfortunate events began. They are soon got a mission from VFD to go to a school VFD has secretly built for a few years now. Now here are the big questions : Will they reunite with their friends? Will they be able to protect their new called guardian? Can they stop the fires? Will they get the sugar bowl back? Can they stop the villains' treachery? Or will they be ok?

There is a story out there, somewhere, where the Baudelaires encounter Quigley Quagmire on the Gorgonian Grotto, but are forced to abandon him due to the spread of the deadly Medusoid Mycelium. This is not that story. This is the story of the Baudelaires reuniting with Quiglely and soon after, the rest of his siblings. Events occur, some fortunate and some unfortunate, as the six children evade the evil and corrupt Count Olaf.

Lemony Snicket style murder mystery.

Before Lemony Snicket began to document the events of the lives of the Baudelaire orphans, he spent his time documenting the events in his own life, although not as unfortunate as the orphans' If you've been following the story of Lemony Snicket, you know that him and several associates were in a large organization called V.F.D.. This organization, as you should know, is an abbreviation for the common emergency service, Volunteer Fire Department. This collection includes many details from Lemony's time in this elaborate team of comrades and foes. It is my duty to tell you the sad yet eventful life of Lemony Snicket, but it isn't too late to find some other book to spend your time with. One with no stolen lovers, no schisms, no vile men who care about nothing but themselves. No egotistical fashonistas, no herpotologists who, many years later, will suffer a terrible fate. But if after this you would still like to read every word of my miserable novel, then go ahead, dear reader, for the secrets in Lemony Snickets years are deeper than anything you'll read anywhere else.

Klaus Baudelaire x Reader (Has some light swearing and a little violence, but is mostly child friendly) ~~~~~~~~~ Here's the gist of it: Your name is Y/n Caliban, and you're the daughter of Olivia Caliban. If you have read A Series of Unfortunate Events you will know (SPOILER) that it ends with either the Beatrice and Baudelairs were swallowed by the great unknown,or they made it safley to land and joined the V.F.D this is what i think happened.
