Soulmates, we all have one. In this alternate universe, if you lose something it gets sent straight to your soulmate. It's all really quite simple. This is a story with a specific set of soulmates... A hoodie that had looked oddly familiar to Kara Danvers was at her friends loft. A hoodie she had lost years ago. Upon further investigation, she realized her and her friend could very likely be soulmates.

Leżałam w bezruchu, oczy powoli zaczęły mi się zamykać. Coraz ciszej słyszałam, widziałam za mgłą. Usłyszałam jednak znany mi głos. Brunetka o jasnozielonych oczach nachyliła się nade mną ze strachem w oczach, wołała o pomoc, zaczęła szlochać. Nie miałam już siły, byłam tak senna, że pulsujący ból nie przeszkodził mi by zamknąć oczy i zasnąć. Wtedy nie byłam świadoma, że od tego przeszywającego wzroku zielonookiej wszystko się zacznie.

That night had changed everything. Kara texted her the next morning asking to meet up because they 'needed to talk', and Lena thought for sure it was over. That she was going to walk into Noonan's a scared and fragile woman and leave as a forever destroyed and permanently broken one. However, when she got to Noonan's, she saw Kara's face, and before she could plead for forgiveness, her lips were captured by Kara's, and the rest was history.

Kara Danvers had one chance... one chance at a normal life... but the question is... was she too late?

Continuing from Season 6's mid-season finale with Kara and Zor-El's return from the Phantom Zone, Kara stumbles to deal with her trauma and she finds herself leaning on Lena for support. Meanwhile, Lena struggles to keep some feelings to herself as she grows closer to Alex, her new drinking buddy.

Eventually, Kara's eyes met Lena's; when they did, Lena offered Kara a tearful smile and whispered: "I love you." Through her sobs. Lena watched as Kara's face morphed into an expression somewhere between confusion and shock; but before the hero could say or do anything in response, the ship bolted into the sky, and Lena lost the one person she loved more than anything.

Kara walks into CatCo like a casual day expecting everything to go on as usual. But to her surprise she finds out someone bought CatCo. That woman was nine other than Lena Luthor herself. She also happened to take a liking to Ms Danvers bit the only problem is that she's never been one for relationships. So deciding she's going to get what she wants she proposes friends with benefits. Note: In this story I decided to make Kara power free. So Kara Zor-El is just Kara Danvers.

After Mon El left again, Kara is faced with a surge of conflicting feelings. Relief, grief, and a realization of love for someone rather unexpected. Authors Note: This is my first fanfiction in relations to a ship. One of my favorite ships in fact. I know it's rough and clanky, but at least it's done?

Lena forgets all about the stars and how pretty they are at the sight of Kara laughing, because even in the bad torch lighting, Kara is prettier than all the stars combined. Something twists in Lena's stomach.
