Copeland Wellings, a typical 17 year old girl living in a small town called Bratsford. All the similar faces, all the similar places, nothing new for Copeland. She considers herself stuck in an empty white room, until she meets a boy. Brad Lennard, a 17 year old delinquent always wanting to do things on his own terms. He gets shipped from California to his aunt's house in a small town in none other than South Dakota. His outrageous behavior leads him into volunteer work in the town's local hospital. There he meets Copeland. Will a friendship rise? Or will there be more? How does it feel to have something so high, then to have it all crumble down? Heartbreaking.
