What If Lenore Dove ate the right bag of gumdrops, and to keep her safe, she ran away with Haymitch? Haymitch knows he has to go to keep Lenore Dove safe, but he knows she would want to come with him. And he would let her. But how will they escape?

Sunrise on the Lois is a reimagining of sunrise on the reaping. It's also a prequel to love at first fight (a peesa melimpson story) in this story Haymitch is Lois griffin.

My take on a Hunger Games Modern AU, following the love story of Katniss and Peeta. Please do not look at my account, I haven't used Wattpad in ages and am only posting it here so my friends can comment.

Wyatt Callow is not easily surprised. He watches each Reaping, stone-faced and solemn at the loss, but the chosen tributes are always predictable. That is, until the Reaping of the Second Quarter Quell, when Lenore Dove Baird volunteers in place of thirteen-year-old Louella McCoy, and this year's Hunger Games become a lot more exciting. Although the other tributes are almost strangers to him, Wyatt's observational skills pick up on a few things: First, Lenore Dove and Maysilee Donner have a past. It looks like neither of them are over it (or each other), making it all the more difficult with Haymitch watching. Second, Lenore Dove is always sneaking around, and factoring in her rebellious spirit, Wyatt knows she's up to something. For now, all he can do is observe, but he knows these Games are going to be different. Or, an anthem for the queenliest dead that ever died so young.

Evangeline Honey's 'visions' became worse, more vivid, and soon she began to realize these were not just flashes of her own troubled past, these were flashes of a troubled future, a future directly intertwined with her childhood friend Coriolanus Snow and his tribute for the Hunger Games Lucy Gray Baird. The ending we kind of all wanted -- and knew we kind of needed, too. So I don't know about you, but I almost broke down sobbing after that final chapter in Sunrise on the Reaping. (You know, the ones with the accursed red gumdrops...) So to bring myself (and most likely other hunger games fans) some peace, I wrote this alternate ending for Haymitch and Lenore Dove. I do use parts of the actual book, but just to tie it up. ALL CHARACTER AND BOOK PARTS USED IN THIS FANFICTION ALL GO TO SUZANNE COLLINS (of course!). It's pretty short, and I think y'all may like it. The epilogue did bring some peace, admittedly, but this will probably bring more happiness, as well. I *cough* also wrote a song and will include the lyrics. I think it's called 'Haymitch, my love' right now, and is supposed to be sung by Lenore Dove (of course). One of the lyrics is pure as a dove, which references to her, but I realize also references to 'Pure as the Driven Snow'... that's cool. okay, enjoy :) ‼️contains pure joy, relief, love (no inappropriate love, just a relationship), and some kissing (but I'm not that detailed with it)‼️ THIS IS AN ALTERNATE ENDING! MEANING WE SHOULDN'T CARE WHAT EFFECT IT COULD/COULDN'T HAVE ON THE OTHER BOOKS. LET'S JUST SAY THIS IS AND ENDING FOR THIS BOOK. JUST SOMETHING HAPPY THAT COULD'VE HAPPENED. KEEP IT TO THIS BOOK. :)

lainey rose collier was just a seventeen year old girl living in district twelve. growing up in district twelve was hard for some, and lainey knew that, she was lucky. she had grown up in the merchant class, her parents owned the clothing shop in the town square. she was the kind of girl that drew attention naturally, not because she was overwhelmingly beautiful, but because she had a naturally alluring light about her that couldn't be dimmed by the coal dust that seemed to constantly darken the air of district twelve. when the 50th annual hunger games roll around and each district is forced to reap two times the amount of tributes, lainey isn't particularly worried for herself, but more so for her friends. what happens when the reaping doesn't go as plan and lainey finds herself headed into the second quarter quell as a tribute of district twelve? haymitch abernathy had always had it harder than most. forced into becoming the man of the house at a young age and placed in the position of taking care of his mother and sid. he lived among the seam, working jobs for his mother and hattie, while trying to keep food on the table. he never really came off as approachable towards others, leaving with him with not many friends, other than lenore dove, of course, his best friend. when the reaping comes on his sixteenth birthday, he's of course worried for himself, but he's more worried for lenore dove. praying that her name isn't called, but when things go wrong and he's forced to be a tribute for the quarter quell, he finds himself drawn to a certain blonde haired girl that he'd never quite gotten the courage to talk to. will things change for him as he navigates his way through the arena? disclaimer: i do not have any claim to any of the hunger games characters or the plot of sunrise on the reaping, except for lainey of course, the rest of the credit goes to suzanne collins!
