Miku Hatsune's life has always been boring. She's always yearned for some excitement in her life, and boy did she get it. A boy who seems to be badly beaten and wearing strange clothes shows up at her door, begging for her to let him hide from 'them'. Before she can ask any questions, he blacks out. Soon, she starts to wonder about this boy. He treats everything he encounters like he's never seen it before. She begins to wonder about this boy. And if he's even human.

"If I take you out and compliment you, does that mean I'm flirting with death?" "I swear, every time you make a stupid pun or joke, you're making it a million times easier for me to reap your soul." On a hot sunny day in the afternoon, Gumi was desperate to get something cool in her system. The pros? She was able to relax from almost everything from the disastrous outside world. The cons?
