Now, he finds himself to be working with this mysterious girl, since he learns that Rebecca is going undercover, to solve the case; Why or How, New York City mutants, are going mysteriously missing? All for the benefit for her mentor, Jack Kurtzman. Would the criminal's next victim be Donnie's old teen-aged sweetheart, April O'Neil (for her Kraang-'given' abilities), or his new partner in crime, Rebecca? And would he eventually form some special kind of bond with her, over the course of their dangerous investigation? Read on to find out.
