Her theory of time travel was a long held goal that no one had cracked and yet, she made the impossible, possible. And immediately regretted it. Locking it away did not detour the chaos that was to come. Her mentor, Doctor Hughes, the only person she told, became obsessed with it. He wanted to use it to change history. He even threatened to have her brother locked away for the rest of his life if she didn't give him the machine. So she took her brother and used the machine, taking the main components with them. She did not know how far the machine was going to send them in the future, or where they would land. Taken in by a man named Christopher Pike, Anastasiya begins her adventures in Starfleet. With her photographic memory, she excelled faster than anyone in the history of the academy. These are Anastasiya's adventures with the USS Enterprise and the story of how she fell for the grouchy CMO.
