An abnormal childhood on Vulcan taught Merelda Holland to appreciate all forms of life, but humans were something she was never able to understand. While studying astrobiology and extraplanetary life at the Starfleet Academy, Merelda somehow befriends Jim Kirk, a troublesome young cadet that dares to test authority and challenges his shy friend to expand her horizons. When trouble arises on the planet she was raised, Merelda comes face to face with a young doctor, named Leonard McCoy, who will change her life.

Leonard McCoy and Jessica Chastain met in college and became best friends. But neither can forget the first kiss that never happened the first night they met. When Jessica shows up as the new Chief Science Officer on the Enterprise, how will he handle the feelings they both denied themselves for so many years? A sort of one-shot piece I wrote. I really like it and hope you do, too. Here's to happiness for one of my favorite Doctors, Leonard McCoy. I pulled some of the backstory/lore facts and information from various fan and official sites, as well as the Alternate Original Series graphic novels I've been reading. (I only own my original characters, but if I did own the others, boy wouldn't we have fun!)

After backing up and smashing her head on the x-ray machine, Ellie McKay loses consciousness, waking up not in a hospital bed or even on the floor in the clinic. No, she woke up only to find out that she had been transported to a different time, place, and even world altogether, after being chased by the locals and then saved by the crew of the USS Enterprise, Ellie now has to figure out how she got there, if there was a way to get home, and how she was going to get the CMO, Dr. McCoy to open up to her.
