Lucy and Leo end up meeting each other while on a solo patrol through the city. Since they were both on their mating seasons they end up mating. But before they did that they at least talked then did it. After a month pretending meeting Leo didn't even happen. She started feeling sick and ends up pregnant. During the pregnancy she discovered that she is having a girl. Like I said during the talk If leo wanted a kid he would name her Miwa just like his sister Karai. Since his sensei wasn't able to raise her he wanted at least something to show his daughter was actually his. So Leo wanted to name the baby that if it would happen. So she named her Miwa. But still called her "Baby blue". They meet after the invasion and so on.
