When Wraith hears about strange creatures in the human realm who fight evil without magic and live among the humans unseen, she has to see them for herself. It occurred to me that there must be many off screen mutants in TMNT, those whose stories will never be told. I wanted to write something about some of them, and what their lives and cultures might be like, before the Turtles and the Turtle madness came on the scene.
